SNMIMT Engineering College, Maliankara has proudly launched a Tri purpose machine named ‘TRIOKA-19 ‘ to fight against COVID-19. Amid the outbreak of novel Corona Virus the new product TRIOKA-19 will keep oneself safe from the highly contagious virus. TRIOKA-19 can be used for Automatic Sanitizing, Mask Disposal and Mask Vending. The product is developed under ‘EDGE’ Incubation Cell of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department in the college. The product was launched by Adv. V.D.Satheeshan M.L.A, today 13th May 2020 at 12.00 pm and handed over to Dr. Rosamma, Superintendent, Taluk Hospital, North Paravur.North Paravur Muncipal Chairman Shri D Rajkumar, HMDP Sabha President Shri. B.Rajeev, Secretary Shri Bijil Kumar and Manager of SNMIMT Shri Rajeev presided over the ceremony. SNMIMT who actively engages in the well-being and progress by incorporating with scientific design and ideas will continue to do the same, Dr. V.R Sasikumar Principal of SNMIMT included. SNMIMT residing in the Vadakkekara Panchayath of Ernakulam District undoubtedly has created a milestone to fight against COVID-19 along with Kerala Government’s Break the Chain Campaign. TRIOKA-19 was designed and developed by Alumini Mr. Suneeth Babu and Mr. Ramjith under the guidance of E.C.E – HOD Mr. Binroy T.B, Assistant Professors Mrs. Chaithanya Raj and Mr. Arjun Santhosh.
The masks prepared for health workers are handed over by the principal to Kodungallur municipality
Gurutwa, the technical fest organized by the students of SNM institute of management and technology, Maliankara which witnesses plethora of enthusiasts to showcase their technical knowledge and aptitude to its zenith.
With colossal scope, Gurutwa is looking forward to witness its triumph the
official logo lunch was held on 28th January 2020 with great vigor and
enthusiasm.
The most magnificent, colorful and most awaited event is on February 18,
2020.
The Gurutwa, 2020 which commences with official inauguration by prestigious guests and will continue with unbeatable art performance by our students . On 19th February, we will capture a glimpse of technical and non technical events such as auto show and workshops and the pro show by 1000CC will be hosted by awe-inspiring singer Sidharth Menon. On 20th we are having choreo,fashion show,DJ water drums and continuation of arts events.
To make this event a splendid success, we graciously invite you to this stupendous technical fest, GURUTWA 2020.
SNMIMT Women's Kabaddi team secured the 2nd Runner-up position in the D Zone inter college tournament 2019. Congratulations to Captain Amrutha P S of Final year Civil Engineering, and team members for their achievement!
A national level technical quiz competition was conducted by ISHRAE in association with MECHANICUS'19 on October 3rd, under the aegis of Department of Mechanical Engineering, ASIET, Kalady . Four teams ,each consisting of two students, have participated in the event representing Mechanical Engineering Department of SNMIMT.The team of Noyal Benny and Kiran Haridas were placed second in the competition with flying colours.The other teams whose members are Rohith R& Vivek E D,Dony Dominic A T & Sidin Dileep and Navin Joshy &Srujith A J are eliminated only after well fight.Our sincere congratulations to all students participated in the event!
