The branch association ‘YANTRA’ was formed in the year 2002. The association is headed by the Association secretary (elected head) and guided by two faculty advisers. It regularly conducts technical events which includes workshops, short term training programmes, robotics workshops, technical talks and seminars.

It was conducted by Dr. P A Abdul Samad Associate Professor Government Engineering College Thrissur. It was attended by students from various engineering colleges and it was very useful for students for their final year projects.
