Eblitz Programs

Program 1: Date: 30th August 2019

The association activity of this year started with a technical talk on “Being an Engineer – Future ahead” by our department alumni, who was the best outgoing of 2016 batch. The talk was for two hours. It was really an energetic talk for our students. He discussed about the existing technologies, scope of Electronic & communication Engineering and job opportunities of ECE in the various fields.

The next level of the session was how to get prepare for GATE and other competitive exams. The third session covers how to get prepared for an interview.

Program 2: Date : 22/10/2019

Technical talk on “FLEXIBLE ELECTRONIC SKIN” was taken by our finial year student Ms Anjali P.P on 22/10/2019. The intention of this program is to improve the technical, presentation and communication skills of the finial year students. The “FLEXIBLE ELECTRONIC SKIN” is a ultrathin electronic device which attaches to the human skin like tattoo. It is used as for replacement of original skin with features and properties. It is also called as E-skin, and is used for the measurement of EEG&ECG. The advanced of nano technology pave a new way to make electronics components in a flexible manner. E-skin is mainly used in medical field and Robotics. The desirable feature of E-skin is such that can de act like the human skin in all manners like sweating, wetting, sweat pore density etc.

Program 3: Date: 29/10/2019

Class on aptitude section taken by Ms Neema Haridas of finial year ECE. How to solve problems based on the directions. The intention of this program is to improve the technical, presentation and communication skills of the students.We all know that there are four main directions – East, West, North and South. Also, we are well aware of the four cardinal directions – South East, South West, North East, and North West. We are going to use all these eight directions to solve our direction reasoning problem. We assume that in our front the direction is North, behind us, is South. To our left is west and to the right is east. Also, we know that the sun rises in the East and sets in the West. When a person faces the sun, then in his / her front is east and behind him/her is west. To the left will be north and in his/her right is south.

Program 4: Date: 06/11/2019

Aptitude section on “percentage” was handled by Ms Oshina Alby of finial year ECE. The intention of this program is to improve the technical, presentation and communication skills of the finial year students. A percentage is a way of calculating how much there is of something in relation to the whole. Percentages are used very widely in both mathematics and everyday situations, and they are really useful for understanding relative amounts and making them meaningful. Percentages are usually represented by the % symbol, and there are a few basic rules you need to understand to be able to manipulate percentages.
